Cruise Village opinion - Great Location..!! This boutique Arabian style hotel was one of our favourites during a recent visit to Dubai. It is all about location location location for this hotel. Situated in the Old Town precinct of down town Dubai. It is within walking distance of the Dubai Mall, the Burj Tower and also the Dubai Fountains which put on a musical display every half hour in the evenings. Always check with the locals for confirmed timings of this light and water show. The Qamardeen has only 186 rooms which had very modern features, not least the bathroom which has glass walls with blinds that can be dropped for pirvacy..!! There are two restaurants (one is a lounge/restaurant) but the hotel does not have a physical bar. You simply order your drinks in the modern and specious boutique lounge or the restaurant. The hotel does offer free scheduled transfers between the popular Malls and also Jumeirah Beach Park. However taxi's are not expensive. There is a super outdoor pool area also, which at night is lit up magnificently.
