Cruise Village opinion - Best Buy Hotel..!!
This hotel is situated in the prime location in the middle of "The Walk" on Jumeirah Beach. Anyone who knows anything about Dubai will tell you that this area is the place to be seen, especially in the evenings amongst the bars and cafe's and shops that are plentiful along The Walk.
The Sofitel is a 5 star hotel with 2 restaurants and 3 bars (one of which is an Irish Bar). Other facilities include complimentary steam, sauna and gymnasium.
There is a fabulous "Infinity Pool" which overlooks the Persian Gulf and the Zen inspired alfresco pool lounge and bar is probably the best location in the city to sit and watch the sun go down...."I have actually experienced this - see the image that I took above - Phil"
Although the hotel doesn't have family rooms, it does have inter connecting rooms. A little fact - the staff uniforms are created by Francisco Smalto..!!
"The Walk" has over 400 boutiques, cafes, restaurants, terraces, landscaped gardens and leisure facilities, and all of this is right on the public beach at Jumeriah. What more do you want from your hotel in Dubai, plus it is only a 35 minute taxi ride from Dubai airport.
Why not pamper yourself and upgrade to a suite and take advantage of a private butler, airport limo and in-room dining.
