If you look into the destinations a little more....

Muscat

Mutrah Souk
Without doubt, the biggest attraction in Muscat is the old souk that runs through a warren of alleyways off Mutrah Corniche, with cupboard-sized shops selling everything from home-grown frankincense, gold and myrrh to plastic trays and Omani khanja (ceremonial daggers).

Cochin

Kerala, popularly known and believed as God"s Own Country, is an ideal destination for business traveler as well as holidaymaker. One of the most sought after tourist destinations in Asia , Kerala is India"s only tropical paradise. The state is blessed with myriad features like dense tropical forests, beautiful beaches, cliffs, rocky coasts, an intricate maze of backwaters, still bays and astounding 44 radiant rivers. One such mesmerizing place in Kerala is Kochi , the most Cosmopolitan City of the state.

There is a plethora of tourist attractions in Kochi which beautify the city. Kochi, earlier known as Cochin, is renowned as the Queen of Arabian Sea. Kochi is a charming mélange of many exotic cultures like the Portuguese, Jewish, English, French, Dutch and Chinese.

You may wish to see out visits to :

St. Francis Church : The oldest existing European Church in India, this 16th century church is the main landmark in Fort Kochi. The remnants of Vasco da Gama were buried here before being shifted to Portugal.

Cheeyappara Waterfalls : Nestled between Neriamangalam and Adimali on the Kochi - Madurai highway, this waterfall cascades down in seven steps. This is also a great place for trekking.

Paradesi Synagogue : Also known as Cochin Jewish Synagogue, this is the oldest synagogue in the commonwealth. This synagogue was built in 1568 AD and is adorned with exquisite hand-painted, blue-and-white Chinese porcelain tiles and Belgian hanging lamps. The synagogue still has the scrolls of the Old Testament and the copper plates, which recorded the grants of privilege, bequeathed by the Kochi rulers.

Chinese Fishing Nets : These huge cantilevered fishing nets seen in the Vasco da Gama square are a top draw among the tourists.
